Director and Family Law Lawyer

Natasha Hewlett nee’ Pearson is a Director and is an experienced Family Lawyer with over 15 years experience in the area of Family Law.

Natasha graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Law, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Bachelor of Teaching (Primary). Natasha is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and of the High Court of Australia.

Expertise and Commitment

Natasha has experience in both simple and complex property matters, including where there are intricate company and trust structures and third-party interests.

Natasha regularly acts in matters involving complex parenting disputes involving domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse. Natasha is sensitive to the needs of clients that have experienced domestic violence.

Natasha is resolution focused and provides commercial and practical advice to her clients in both parenting and property matter in order to achieve cost effective and positive results for her clients in the areas of property, parenting, divorce, spousal maintenance.

Empowering Clients Through Communication

In 2013 Natasha successfully completed the National Training Program for Independent Children’s Lawyers and was appointed to the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers. As an Independent Children’s Lawyer Natasha is appointed to act on behalf of children in Family Law disputes that involve high conflict, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse. Natasha is also appointed to the Family Law Legal Aid Panel.

Natasha is known to develop a genuine rapport with her client whilst providing high level legal advice. Natasha adopts a strategic and common sense approach to her matters to resolve matters as efficiently as possible.

Outside the Office

Outside of law Natasha is a basketball fan and having grown up in the Illawarra is an Illawarra Hawks supporter regularly attending games. Natasha enjoys spending time with her young family.

Natasha is passionate about giving back to the community and is currently a Director on the Board of Directors at the Illawarra Sports Stadium. Natasha previously served on the Board of Members for Breast Aware Australia, Advisory Council for Edmund Rice College and Illawarra Ethnic Community Council now known as (now MCCI). Natasha was previously a committee member for the Illawarra Women’s Lawyers Associate of New South Wales. In 2017 Natasha participated in Stars of Wollongong Dance for Cancer raising $8,000.
